Admissions
Admission to the Delta School is based on referral from the student’s Local Education Agency (LEA). The LEA prepares a student referral packet for submission to the Delta School. Packets are reviewed by a multi-disciplinary team and an interview is scheduled with the LEA and the parent/guardian. Following the interview, the admissions team meets to determine if the school can provide an appropriate educational program for the child. After determination for acceptance is made by the team, the LEA and parent/guardian are notified. The Pennsylvania Department of Education pays for tuition, transportation and all related services delineated in the IEP. There is no cost to the family. Admissions requests are accepted and processed on a rolling basis throughout the year.
The Delta School provides equal opportunity to all applicants regardless of a person’s race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, medical condition, sexual orientation, disability, or any other legally protected status. Discrimination on the basis of any classification protected under federal, state or local law is a violation of the Delta School policy.
